Author Bio

Author Jennifer L. Smyth has been a registered nurse for more than sixteen years. She grew up in Duluth, Georgia, where she graduated from Greater Atlanta Christian School, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Clemson University.

She began her nursing career stationed in San Diego with the U.S. Navy, gaining valuable experience in high-risk obstetrics, after which she worked in the labor and delivery unit of Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Her journey brought her back to the Atlanta area where she currently works in a neonatal intensive care unit. She resides in Smyrna, Georgia, with her two dogs, Ema and Koko.
